If clothing manufacturers made clothes anywhere near standard sizes people wouldn't need to get 5 different sizes to figure out what the hell a Large is supposed to be.
People admire those that do things they like. When a LOT of people like the same person it can turn into a feedback loop. Couple that with parasocial relationships and easy communication via the Internet and it can easily blow up. We're also programmed to like people that are popular because others like them.
The biggest draw was actor Jim Caviezel, a promoter of QAnon conspiracy theories, who had a hit movie this summer but is perhaps best known for playing Jesus in “The Passion of the Christ”
This film is The Sound of Freedom, for anyone wondering.
57%/99% on Rotten Tomatoes. And $250M worldwide gross vs a $14.5M budget. Jesus Christ.
I actually understand that one. It feels like going to the end is cheating, cutting they line. I used to do that until I learned it was bad for traffic and against design.
Probably because I've seen enough people get IN the ending lane just to zip ahead or people speed down the shoulder past where it ended.
That said, I'll usually always play a male character in a Souls title, because [insert valid reason for inconsistency here.]
I often do this when I want the character to mesh with the build. If I'm playing a character with a great shield and giant hammer, I'll want a big beefy character that is often easier to create in game as a male body. And when I play a quick assassin, I often pick female. It's like the opposite of how anime weapons work.
FYI: as someone I think would like incongruent in girl mode, I went as Dr Frankenfurter (creation scene, was cold) for Halloween this year and went all out: full makeup, fishnets, shaved legs, 4" platform heels, etc. It was very fun and could be a good entry into what you might want to do. Also: you can always dress up at home just for yourself.
I play in 2 games and run 1. As a player I play both characters who share my gender and one that doesn't. At the table I run there's a guy who plays a woman, and used to be another.
It's never caused issues or confusion. So for anyone interested in playing like this, feel free to do so! For pronouns I've also found success in referring to characters instead of players with names unless explicitly talking to the player, but that's easier as a GM.
Agreed. I wouldn't expect a Democrat to do it. But he could just float the idea in public and that should scare Republicans enough to push it through the SCOTUS that the president isn't immune to prosecution
Tbf that was the One Ring and IT wanted to be found. The rings referenced above were not semi sentient like the One Ring was. They merely amplified the powers and desires of their races.
Elven rings allowed them to preserve their forests and increased their isolationism. Dwarven rings increased their ability to acquire and desires for money. Human rings gave them increased powers to rule over men.
The former probably. Person was either positive or positively exposed would be my guess.
