Yeah. That seems to be a trend in recent years. UX is extremely utilitarian and does not mesh with other game aesthetics. Even when those UX elements are on the screen all the time. It's very jarring to see a colorful game with a distinct palatte of textures being overlayed with grey, modern boxes and white arial text without any background textures to it.
It makes it feel like I'm playing a bad emulator or fan remake.
That was very stupid of the judge. Insults and mockery normally are just that. But when someone has a platform as large as Trump full of violent traitors, it turns into death threats pretty quick.
So fucking do it. Get out there and riot or whatever you want. All you're doing is shitting on the last form of peaceful change we have left. We all get you're jaded and cynical.
None of that matters. It's a 2-party FPTP system and one party is fascist and trying to overthrow democracy. It's literally a choice between a shitty country and facsism.
The place to try to push for progressive change is the primaries, not the fucking General Election. At this point the General is just survival.
The moderates are the Democrats (on average). The majority of the Republican party supports treason so any that call themselves Republicans fall into that label as well.
There are effectively only 2 parties in the US: Republican and Democrat. They are so ideologically opposed (far-right vs moderate, mostly) that changing parties is anathema. There are a few other parties, usually called Independent when they win a seat, but those tend to go to politicians in spite of them being of a different party, i.e. following the individual.
When people vacate seats before a term is up (more commonly a person just states they won't run for reelection), the state either appoints a replacement (senators) or the states hold a special election (representatives).
Making workers poor, tired, and too stressed to ever consider organizing or politics is the goal. They want everyone on the brink of a breakdown. This also increases violence as people do break down. Which helps republicans push for more of a police state.
Trump wants to get rid of the federal workforce. He wants to go back to the Spoils system where Presidents awarded government positions and ambassadorships as favors and payment. That way there's nothing stopping from stacking the government and firing any dissenters.
It won't work. The federal government is HUGE now and it'd take years just to get an accounting of who to replace, even if you only go for supervisors and up. This WILL be a huge problem if attempted because it will decapitate every federal agency from being effective.
Stuff splashes when you wash dishes. And now you have to remember to turn the faucet off every time you need to use it in the other sink. The guy complaining about wet lines from the edge of the sink being wet is complaining about a very common thing, from splashing. I feel like I'm explaining how to tie shoes at this point...
