giving $20 gift cards in return for a $1 donation didn’t pay off?
That seems...vaguely illegal? I can't say how, though. But it seems wrong to be able to pay people to donate to a political campaign. Like it's trying to get around campaign finance laws.
In the same boat. 38 and wanted to buy a house, riiight when COVID started. So waited so we didn't die, then prices shot up so waited for them to go down, but they didn't and rates are now too high to even consider. And no one can really sell because of what you said.
So if the government wanted to be sure no one could get a loan and the only people able to buy houses were corporations with cash on hand...good job government?
Depends on your state's laws. But peaceful dudes in red caps are not what people are worried about. They are groups of aggressive people, potentially visibly armed, near to polling places or mail-in boxes that will scare voters away. If you have to walk past a line of lifted pick-up trucks, all with huge Trump flags in the backed, filled with angry redcaps with assault rifles, you might rethink voting. Which is the goal of the facists.
In California, it’s an issue of fairness to count ballots cast by people who then die before election day, Secretary of State Alex Padilla said. He said it’s just as conceivable that someone who votes early in person also dies before election day, and there is no way to identify and reject that ballot.
Probably. But for every Trump fascist getting arrested or making a video "patrolling" a ballot box drop-off, for every fascist getting killed, those are huge news stories that will make voters reconsider if it's even safe to vote. It'll have a massive chilling effect on voters who aren't obvious Trump supporters. Which is the point: fear.
The same reason merchandise sellers are on Amazon even though Amazon forces them to lower prices and make less: if you're NOT on Amazon, people just won't find you. If you're not on Spotify, you don't exist in the music world to some people. Because otherwise where else will they search for you? Youtube Music or Apple Music, both pay sites. Otherwise you're having word of mouth or searching manually.
Any track, not any artist. You could have a hundred tracks getting hundreds of streams a piece. Maximum before cutoff would be about $3/track. Not a ton but could be hundreds of dollars. And combining that from dozens to thousands of artists potentially in that boat.
The beast - doberman etc always caged in the day. No interaction from guests. Ferocious human haters. They will roam the yards at night and generally patrol.
If the point of this dog is to attack humans, or if that is incidental and it's not trained to NOT do that, it should be destroyed. It's effectively a sentient weapon that will attack people.
There are trained guard dogs and watch dogs. Watch dogs alert people and guard dogs to intruders. Guard dogs warn off intruders and can be trained to attack if a resident is attacked. The latter is much more problematic and liable for lawsuits but what you described is a walking Wrongful Death lawsuit waiting to happen. Trespassing laws (in the US) don't allow lethal force. Even Castle Law usually requires an intruder to be offering violence.
Dogs like that, that are aggressive and either can't or won't be trained should be destroyed, their owners fined heavily, and banned from owning dogs.
Dogs are classified as property and a dog that hurts someone causes the owner to be liable. A threat of violence from a dog, said property, is not much different than an owner with a gun negligently pointing it.
There's issues with PCs as well. Most browsers don't play full HD nor 4k. I haven't found a solution for that even though most of our viewing is from an attached gaming PC.
I know this is memes, but instant noodles weren't invented to prevent starvation. On launch they were actually many times more expensive than fresh noodles.
They need to have a better platform, have a lot of political and funding connections, and have at least as good name recognition as Biden to have a shot at overcoming incumbency bias.
It's not as if any other Republican candidate won't be a frothing fascist. We've got fucking DeSantis heeling in the wings.
And there aren't any other Democrats with enough name recognition to put forward a good game at this point. Maybe if Biden had announced he wouldn't seek a 2nd term in 2020 we'd have someone. But a sudden double-death before the general election is going to be MUCH more likely to favor a Republican.
An absolutely massive controversy could see him stepping down or losing the primary, but he hasn't had anything like that.
But there's almost no chance to beat both an incumbency bias and name recognition. Maybe if there was another contender as popular and well known they'd have a shot but probably still slim.
I enjoy is not being a stinking turdball like people of your ilk.
Lol. Ok, boomer. It's rare someone says something that fits that prompt so aptly.
When the fascists take over and you're sitting there wondering "why is this happening?" remember your own foolishness. Or you might be marching with them? We'll see.
It looks like a PS1 era game. It looks like Cloud Strife's model.
