  • Yeah, sure but to "steal something" is to imply that you're depriving the original owner use of the thing you stole. This is more like making an exact copy depriving nobody of use of the original thing.

it's more like depriving someone use of roads, sidewalks, and doors because they got caught walking out of Kinkos

  • By claiming people must vote for the "lesser evil" and nothing else then the party of "lesser evil" implicitly paves the way for people to stop showing up for them, which to that side paves the way for their greater evil to eventually win. -If you think that's selfish and entitled, then that's your prerogative, but if you want people support your candidate then you have to get them to want to support your candidate, be it selfish or not.

  • No, not voting is simply not voting. More to the point, not voting is "explicitly" saying you don't care enough to spend the time or energy on casting a vote or you couldn't vote. A person might think it implicitly* says "either choice is equally good", but then I could argue that the Democrat party implicitly considers "either choice equally good" because they didn't attempt to earn the votes.

When it's easier to not vote than come out to vote, then the responsibility is on the candidates to convince their potential constituents to turn out for them.

  • If I don't remember to take them off in my car(or I'm just feeling carefree) then Ill wear them inside because as long as it's well-lit I can see better with my prescription sunglasses. If it's dim then I do that thing wear I lift them slightly to peak out from under them to focus on important visual details like prices.

  • I spent several years working as security at a large warehouse building that had a retention pond just past the parking lot. Every year like clockwork they'd show up in early spring and nest right up against the building at the emergency exits. -It was our job to check these emergency exits at least twice per shift. Once it got late enough into the spring the facilities manager would register with the state and remove the eggs, but each year they'd come back, and we would have to wait over a month before the eggs could be removed and they'd stop attacking us. I hate these birds.

I will note, as stupid as people are saying these birds are I do recall at least one of them remembering me and/or my uniform to selectively charge at me in the parking lot as i was going to my car. The one I'm thinking of waddled right past multiple people that were closer just to come at me.

  • Eh, Tesler stock value hasn't even returned to the value it had on April 8th, and even then it was only returning to the pre-election value. When Musk anounced his dark maga bullshit and inserted himself into politics Tesler's value shot through the roof. Ever since then it seems like investors want to believe that added real value. I'm unconvinced.
