My state is gearing up and "confederating" with other rational, caring, and financially solvent blue states. No guarantees we'll win, but we'll go down swinging.
That's why some people don't get control over what happens to the convicted. We do know our justice system isnt perfect and makes more mastakes than what even the most rational person would find unacceptable. There is no going back once the state murders someone. And unless we have equal punishment for whomever caused a innocent person to be executed by the state. It should be outlawed in all cases.
Don't worry. There's going to be a ton of scorned political figures this time around. Even more than last time. Every single sycophant around Trump is going to be trying to be the head boot licker. The under cutting and in fighting is going to be the only thing (outside of the military) preventing Trump from bacoming a dictator.
Doesn't matter. We have the resources available to house, feed, educate, provide health care, and community for every American but don't out of greed. The US won't survive unless we mobilize every American to achieve their best self.
Undocumented students is the only reason farm towns even still have schools to send kids to. Seriously in my mid sized city we were closing schools due to drastic drop in kids. Actual citizens were having to drive 30 plus min one way to get their kids to school. But then we had a migrant explosion and schools started to open back up.
I mean, who can afford parties any more. Not even joking. None of my friends are buying anything extra for parties. Kids parties as well. Just the essentials.
