Same here. When my grandfather, who I was very close with, passed away, I never cried. But I bawled like a baby at Toy Story 3.

I think it's the soundtrack. If someone had told me about my grandfather while some emotional string music swelled, I probably would have cried.

Global is the key word. In Denmark 5'7" is definitely short. In North Korea, that would be huge.

You'd have to prove you weren't hired due to your views, and while they are morons, they're probably not dumb enough to outright say that's the reason they didn't hire you. They'll find something else on which to base their decision

That's not how contractors necessarily work. What often happens is the contract goes to the lowest bidder, but it's still more than it would take to pay a direct hire. The person doing the job is probably paid less, but the shareholders pocket the difference between what they bid and what they'll pay their employees. They're basically the landlords of labor.

Gates has pledged to give away all his wealth when he dies, and is trying to get other billionaires to do the same, yet most of the comments here are shitting on him for being a billionaire. Dude is doing what he can to liquidate his assets to help the poor people of the world, but that's not enough for some of you salty bastards. Fuck him for getting lucky and rich I guess, and for doing more for Polio eradication globally than anyone since Jonas Salk.

I'd say the difference is the target audience. Andor is for a more sophisticated adult audience. The original trilogy is for everyone, and after that it's almost all been targeted to kids.

Or at least say that it's worth it to own the libs

I only changed my comment at the last second before posting to mention the live action, because I haven't read the books and seen all the animated series, so didn't want a brigade of folks who have telling me "well akshully"
