  • That would actually be a hilarious form of protest. I don't know where his campaign headquarters are, but his DC Senate office address is:

288 Russell Senate Office Building Washington, DC 20510

For any women who would like to donate their used feminine hygiene products to the cause

  • Same. Grew up in a conservative household and shared many of the same views when I was younger. But the more the conservatives have shifted towards hating "the other" the more I've realized that was always what they, and their policies, were. They're just not subtle about it now.

If you're so confident in your world view, you shouldn't be afraid of it being challenged, whether by speech, or people being free to be who they are, want to be, or were born into. If it doesn't harm you, why should you care?

The fact that neo Nazis align themselves with the GOP, Trump, and MAGA, should tell you all you need to know. I've never donated to a Democrat's campaign... Until today.

  • Weird Al either changes the lyrics (parody) or makes a polka version of the tune with the original lyrics. Still immune from lawsuits. He doesn't have to get the artist's permission. He does it out of courtesy, because he's a good human being

  • Your "Genocide Joe" slur indicates you wouldn't vote for him due to his stance on Israel. You think Trump would be better? He'd immediately start doubling arms shipments, I'm sure.

How do you think Harris's policy will be different? She's supported Biden's foreign policy publicly, so seems like she would hold course as far as Israel and Palestine are concerned.

You may think we're on the same side, but

  • Hundreds of dollars? That must be nice. If I have to be Medivaced to a hospital I'm looking at a charge of around $10k. I've often purchased separate insurance from the 2 companies that provide that service in my state (Alaska) when I know I'll be doing risky things in remote areas.

That's right, I have to buy 2 separate policies, because I won't get to choose which one picks me up, as it's a matter of who's available and even if I had a choice between them, I could be incapacitated so couldn't make my wishes known.

Fortunately the insurance is around $150/year for each, so not crazy expensive, but still not what I'd like to be spending that money on
