Oh, like that.

Well, mainly because I'm getting a little fed up with how Ubuntu forces snap on to you. I just want to install the apt versions of programs but it won't do that out of the box.

And I know you can change that and remove snap but I am a little done with always having to mod the shit out of my linux installations to get them to work the way I like.

Other than that I am pretty satisfied with how Ubuntu works out of the box and has pretty good hardware support. I was basically looking fot an Ubuntu without snap.

The default version of what?

On my gaming systems I still use Windows 10.

On my internet browsing and writing systems I'm using ubuntu or linux mint (debian)

All my retro computers use period correct operating systems like (ms-dos 6.22 with) windows 3.11, 95, 98, 2000, XP.

I recently gave thr debian based Linux Mint a try and I was pleasantly surprised.

I might ditch ubuntu for this.

Pulling hot air out of the case makes perfect sense to me. The case probably has grating and/or fans at the top.

Even works well with the convector mechanism of hot air rising up.

I think I'm using a similar thing and I agree that it's ideal.

Because larger people need to eat more, as their body requires more energy, and so they need more fiber, I'm assuming.

I misread this as what song you would hear when you did this.

I've seen contraptions to carry people down stairs. These were meant to be carried by two able people.

Or two able people might just have to carry a disabled person down the stairs without a contraption.

I hope I'm remembering this right. Sounds humiliating but also problematic if people aren't trained to do this and/or leave the building without knowing or caring.
