Ah yes, I remember noticing it would make like a short video instead of one picture, back when I had an iPhone. I turned that function off because I didn't see the benefits.

Sometimes I drop sub groups just over their timing. If it's too short, I will drop them since I will no longer enjoy it at that point.

Yes, I agree it's good to have a backup system.

[edit] I mean having a paper filing system as backup.

I've never been a fan of them myself but I've always found it nice to learn about others' interests.

And now that I've aged I care less about how others look and more about if they're kind to me.

I like cash and fax machines. But floppy disks need to be retired. And paper filing is incredibly slow compared to digital databases.
