I think it sucks when you are forced to save the environment but the rich don't have to change their lifestyle at all. They should be the first to have to change since they affect the environment a lot more.
Ubuntu has an even better approach. It updates silently while you are using it. Then your tab crashes. And when you retry it tells you to restart firefox. Truly genius *cheffs kiss
This sounds like a lot of my experiences with Linux. Before I went back to Ubuntu which mainly solved the specific issues I had. Not saying it will solve someone elses.
I choose to believe that the NCIS has developed a technique with which two users can controll a computer at the same time through the same keyboard.
And that they are using an advanced operating system which UI is based solely on the technique pop-up ads in the 2000s used.
I am not saying you fire some hiring manager but I'm saying fire who is responsible for hiring more people than you need. Clearly someone is not doing their job properly or you wouldn't get these mass firings.
So they've hired too much people and now they need to let them go. Why doesn't this have consequences for the people hiring in the first place? It is your responsibility to adapt to market changes but when you mess up, your head is not on the line?
I wish they would just understand that all they need is a simple lightweight layout with ways to sort post and threads.
No "more" buttons and no fancy scripts. Just load the page and maybe have people make some comments without reloading the page, but that's it.
We need less internet traffic and less resource usage. I should be able to visit a forum board like reddit with the same pentium 1 pc I used to visit invision forums on dialup back in the day.
I've never even had 4K. All I have is 1080p and that's fine.
