  • I still disagree with the notion made up by punlishers that you buy a dvd or cd you somehow only buy a license to view it. I never agreed to that and you can't just print text on something to make it so.

Ofcourse I don't have the right to make reproduction but owning the physical product should make me the owner.

Maybe not related to your comment but I wanted to rage about this.

  • PC fan screws come to mind because they are self tapping and a lot of people seem to not use the right screwdriver or don't yet know the trick of running the screws in and out of the fan one time outside of the case first.

  • I will have a look and get back to you.

I must admit however that I have had a change of mind after my comment and that it may have been a failure on my end. I think I may have overlooked an option for at least one of my cards, and I have since also found a guide that uses a PPA in Ubuntu.

Also besides this I have some really old (pci-express) graphics cards in active use because they are better than onboard and the pc's are still fast enough. But it would be nice to get those working with official drivers (even if older) so that some simpler games like FlatOut 1 & 2 can still be played on them.

  • I think you make a fair point. And regarding sports it really isn't fair if people have an unfair advantage. It also takes away the fun others have.

I think it's a hard decision to make because you don't want to be labeled as transphobic, but you also don't want biological and trans women competing in physical competitions. Now if it was about chess that would've been something else.

The big question is what is fair. And I think fair is when we all have an equal chance and it's no one has an unfair advantage over the other. And this might also disqualify biological men and women if that so happens to apply to them. Because it needs to be fair.

I'm a trans woman myself btw and I would feel terrible if I were to compete with biological women in something physical. I just can't imagine how that would be fair. Even if my muscle mass is mostly gone now, we are built different. Not better or worse, just different.

P.S. does baard mean beard in your language too?

  • I'll be honest that I've never really experienced problems like that before. I've had cheap screws and partially stripped screws. But so far I've always been able to open them with the right screwdriver.

But I believe you when you say you did and maybe you have a lot more experience than I do so I'll respect your opinion.
