  • For FDM, learning how to level your bed and set the z offset properly will save a lot of headache early on.

  • have you made sure your adjustment knobs are as tight as possible?

    I found that if I tightened all my knobs to max I could, then leveled by loosening some and adjusting the z offset, it would stay there for much longer.

  • yeah temperature then flow calibration should solve over extrusion problems that will cause your parts to stick to each other or otherwise bind.

  • don't drink coffee, but I don't do the pills cause the caffeine release is way too fast. Nowadays I just use mints that slowly dissolve in your mouth.

  • Personally, I wouldn't recommend open back for commute as you can hear everybody else and everyone else can also hear you. They are very much moreso for at home use.

  • Not necessarily! they are great for at home, especially if you have a kid or grandparent you have to be able to hear. Not so much for the bus though
