I think it needs to be said that (and I cannot speak for the man himself) I believe what the intent of this statement was that this - and much worse - is what is actually happening to so many Palestinian children right now and to demonstrate what our complicity looks like. Surely many Palestinians have suffered similar (and worse) ends, but they don't get national media attention like a white active duty soldier does with an act like this.
