  • I’m thinking Labo and ring fit because the console and controller dimensions are different.

  • Does that make our brain cavity the attic?

  • I find it disingenuous to call Ukraine the tip of the spear when they’re the country being invaded. They’re more of a shield for the rest of Europe than anything. No amount of hand wringing about Victoria Nuland changes the fact that Russia started this war when they invaded a sovereign nation that voted for their own independence not all that long ago, Crimea included.

  • I read that. I’m not asking you to prove a negative. I’m telling you of evidence I’ve seen that supports Ukraine’s claim. “Everyone that doesn’t agree with my assessment is media-illiterate” isn’t a convincing argument.

I might add that North Korea and Russia not talking about this isn’t evidence there isn’t troop sharing. Russia still hasn’t taken responsibility for shooting down yet another commercial airliner but it’s plainly evident they did. Ukraine doesn’t claim responsibility for many of their drone attacks or sabotage in Russia but it’s plainly evident that they’re responsible.

I expect more North Koreans will be captured in due time, it will no longer be argued that they are fighting in Kursk, and the goalposts will be moved.

  • There’s a lot of evidence that North Koreans are serving in Kursk if you take your head out of the sand. I’ve seen footage of soldiers signing paperwork in Korean, talking to one another in Korean, etc.

I also don’t know why Ukraine would waste effort dropping leaflets written in Korean just for some kind of psyop.

  • These photos are great. It’s nice to read a feel good story for once

  • I enjoyed reading Ur-Fascism so it’d probably be nice to read something lighter from him.

  • I suppose that OP didn’t state that the ideas presented must be worth any consideration

  • Rule 5, homie

  • Jeff Grubb is corroborating this and he has a pretty good track record

  • Philly has a strong LGBTQ+ community and isn’t as prohibitively expensive to live in as Seattle. I work with some trans and nonbinary people in the city and they have told me they’re content living and working in Philly.

  • Yeah I’m going to shut up now because you may be right. Appreciate it.

  • My bad if you’re actually trying to better wrap your mind around this. I think my frustration stems from the feeling that Europe doesn’t seem to realize they have much of the same problems as the US, just being 10 years behind, imo. We definitely are on more of a tinder box as a result of there being so many firearms in the country, but right wing populism is growing across the Atlantic just like it is thriving here. Im not going to try to invalidate what your friend has experienced since coming here.

I feel like there’s a bigger trend towards empty populism worldwide and authoritarianism that people aren’t realizing. It makes me feel like posts like this feed into a crab in a bucket kind of situation. It doesn’t help I’m from New Jersey and my state regularly gets mocked domestically so I’m already primed to be on edge. I wouldn’t have posted my last message, in hindsight.

  • Just going to add my own anecdotal experience to the mix; I’ve lived in the northeast US for my whole life. I also used to be a teacher. I’ve never once been a victim or bystander to gun violence. Now I am in a spot of the US with more strict gun laws, but I have also lived in places with laws that are more lax.

  • I don’t get how you can talk about annexing a territory and then at the same time denying China’s claim in Taiwan. Either it’s off the table for everyone or it’s going to end up being open season

  • Because he wants to appeal to republicans in a time when they control all the levers of the federal government. He’s desperate not to be in their crosshairs and is trying to offer up an alternative is my read.
