My understanding is that there is no actual reason to think companies could be sued or get in legal trouble for donating expired goods, despite the common misconception otherwise.

  • Do you have examples of CGP Grey getting things pretty wrong aside from his Solution to Traffic video which I indeed think holds up poorly.

  • I'm already subscribed :D

  • Yes, seemingly every commenter

  • Tbh I love it when customers bring their dogs to my work (as long as the dog is friendly).

  • It surly can't avoid having ads permanently tho?

I assume they're just burning cash rn but will eventually need to have sustainable income. Alternatively Mastodon is an actual non-profit, it doesn't need to have the same type of income

  • Probably Amsterdam or Copenhagen for a few weeks,

properly experience a walkable city with good transit and cycling infrastructure

  • I feel like I’ll get roasted but, maybe Family Guy. I always understand new references and catch new jokes each rewatch

  • Largely going off this video

Shows that there are studies funded by both sides to spread biased info. I won't pretend I'm an expert on the subject tho

  • Wasn't this shown to be biased info?

Paper towel companies literally funding research which paints hand dryers in a had light, or something like that

  • To be fair, the .ml version is the largest so you'll inevitably see a mix of both thoughtful comments, and horribly stupid comments.

  • I would recommend completely ignoring what Instance people/communities are hosted on

  • Can you remind me how/where to donate?

  • Why would they release a product for free that costs massive amounts to run

  • JPG is not bad, but it uses more storage space for the same quality compared to HEIC/HEIF

  • Any examples of an equivalent in other languages?

I speak a small amount of French but can't think of one

  • I ride my bike/take public transit in my car-centric city
