  • Kind of. First you have to buy a Texteditor token and then the license says you're permitted to open the IPFS link in order to use Texteditor.

  • I've been wondering which crypto product i should work on. What do you think is the most promising project?

KateKash, Nanocoins, VimBucks, NotePetz++ (i heard cryptobros love ERC-20 based lifeforms), M$ WorDillars

  • Don't worry, texteditor.com is also available as an app on Windows, macOS and Linux thanks to Electron.

It only needs 300 megabytes and you can style it with CSS.

  • Resharper really slows down Visual Studio at launch.

  • I suggest Sam O'Nella Academy's video "Banana Republics" for more information

  • Wait a minute, Proton didn't shit the bed when you run games off of NTFS? Did you happen to set permission masks or smth?

  • I though Void wasn't a "just works" distro but yesterday i realized that part of the problem was sitting in front of the computer the whole time and no package can possibly fix this.

It's not quite a "just works" distro but Void documents stuff on their site to get some common stuff running and as long as you don't try running applications from an NTFS drive, you should be fine. Also make sure to install flatpak because you may not find every package in xbps.

  • Arch is so fast

  • My crrent test install of Void Linux only uses 800 MB RAM upon booting on my GPD Win 2. 200 MB came from me using KDE.

Booting Void Linux live on my gaming PC and then running KDE gave me 600 MB and if it stays that way after install then this is great.

It absolutely beats Windows with 2 GB RAM usage upon booting and i'm certain that it even beats Windows' Fast Boot.

  • If your WiFi randomly slows down to less than dialup speed, make sure to disable power saving in NetworkManager.

Also Proton made playing your back catalogue of games easier but it's definitely not a silver bullet.

Also Ubuntu, Debian and their respective derivatives have the most resources if you need help. Don't use Void unless you have a GF who is also willing to do tech support.

Also Mozilla needs their asses kicked for not properly supporting touch like Chromium but this isn't a Linux issue.

Also Linux is the only OS where you have to know what a compositor is and you have to be mindful because the wrong compositor can break your game.

  • I kinda wanna see Gordon Ramsay go through a Merge Request.

  • Me: "Oh no, a Screamer!"

    Screamer: "CLEAN UP THE DISHES!"

  • Inventor of Delphi: "Hey, can i copy your homework?"

Inventor to himself: "Yes, just make it look like you made it yourself."

  • You found a great fiance 😁 She asks the really big questions!

  • I mean yay for counter-programming and turning into an event or smth but i doubt that many people of the Paw Patrol target audience could go watch Saw.

  • I am waiting for replacement parts for my Xbox 360 that was ostensibly tested and working fine. Still better than buying from DKRetro i suppose.

  • Meanwhile at Tuxedo OS:

Manager: "So, we need a set of Wallpapers for that Linux we have."

Worker: "Alright, so i suggest that we add some vistas from germany in there and some nature photography."

Manager: "Classic and beautiful, but i feel like we need a little twist to that."

Worker: "Alright, so was if we were to run an algorithm that turns random parts of the wallpaper into polygonal art?"

    Manager: "How random exactly?"

Worker: "Totally! The only rule is that half of the wallpaper has to have that look but there's no rhyme or reason to which parts will be turned into polygons."

Manager: "I love it. Can we also super impose our logo on the wallpaper so that people can always rest assured that the Linux they booted is still the Linux they installed and that it's our Linux?"

    Worker: "Absolutely sir!"
