  • If you want CachyOS I highly recommend you to have atleast Haswell or Alteast Ryzen If you use AMD due to their Compiled packages and stuff.

Endeavor os If you don't have atleast haswell/Ryzen.

Stock Arch If your fine building it.

Debian I wouldn't recommend to use for a pc you use often.

Popos I never used it before but it seems like a "stable gaming" Distro.

Mint is also a great option I use it on pcs I sometimes use and it's also easy to use.

  • If you want Nvidia Reflex,DLSS and RTX and GSYNC,etc and your fine with installing out of tree proprietary drivers and fine with some minor issues(Like rarely breaking randomly) Nvidia If you don't care about Nvidias features AMD.

  • X11 or xorg is old and dated and uses a "x server" to work which is what it manages what you see and stuff. Wayland is new and updated removes the need for a server causing lower latency and faster composting but less compatible.
