  • Has there been any word at all from the dev about the app since the beta 96 release? It seems a lot of people are having issues, more than just what this post is about. I've had to switch to another app as my main because of it. I'm just wondering, not complaining.

  • I understand why they do it, though. Because every time there is something skippable, people will skip it and then go and complain about being confused or saying the game didn't explain something well enough. A good thing that should be more common is things shouldn't be skippable the first time you play a game and then skippable after that.

    Many wish for less handholding in games, then completely miss major features or story beats because they skipped whatever they needed to get that info and go and pester the devs or others about it.

  • When I wrote that comment, there were like 6 comments. All of them were at negative scores, and they were all very different opinions while some were not opinions at all, just info. Just looked strange.

  • It's not a monopoly in the way that valve has does bad things to keep it that way, just that every other try has so far failed. Nothing has been close to as good as steam, and probably never will. GOG is good but they're not directly competing in the same way.
