The free data source was cut off, there's several replacements of varying quality depending on region. The met.no one is good for me.

They are switching off the copper network in NZ. Suburb by suburb at the moment. But 87% have fibre, up to 8Gb/s to the home.

Unless this is a turnkey plugin that takes very few people to implement. It would be A. Too difficult and B. Too easy for anyone who knows about it to whistle blow it's existence

A $5 esp32 has more than enough computing power to run a vending machine, cameras and connectivity too. Would be cheaper than having to run all the analogue circuitry.

I'm on the prusa mini as my first printer and it's done spectacularly well, the few times I've needed a bigger bed I've been able to segment the parts and glue it back together.

One thing you haven't mentioned is where your printer will be, mine is in my living space, so noise is a big concern. Placing down a foam pad and then a paving stone under the printer stops vibrations from echoing through the table it's on. But the bambu printers though amazingly featured for the price, are noisy beasts.

This helped me understand it

The despecialized edition uses a ton of cleaned up shots that don't change in a story sense but have grain and wires and other compositing errors cleaned up. These are new works. Even the VHS release and any HD releases could be considered new works as the colour and sound would have been tweaked for each format. The best thing to do would be to find an original film print and have it scanned. Anything else would push the clock back.

It's an issue that could be solved within lemmy where communities with the same name should be able to merge and show each others content.

Prusa firmware is all still on github. They are using a few more machined or injection moulded parts where it makes sense for stiffness or things like the spool holder. Most of the printer and especially anything that might get revisions later is 3d printed
