  • I've got liftoff, jerboa and connect installed. I keep reaching for connect first as its beautifully laid out, puts content first and has just enough framing to separate threads or comments, is improving fast and most of my early pain points are sorted now

  • Same here in sparsely populated New Zealand. Our house in a small rural town of 100ppl has 4Gbps fibre available (only have signed up for 1Gbps) and that's run by a wholesaler, you can choose from 20+ ISPs to provide the service, switching between them takes one call and 30min

  • As long as you aren't interrupting them filming or setting up an interview with someone. A quick "thanks for your channel, I love your xxxx" whatever you like about it. And let them engage from there if they want/have time to chat.

They are there on channel business so will be expecting fans, but also have content to make.

  • Absolutely incredible track in the dry, they have to improve safety in the wet, i don't think I can watch if its wet this year.

What can they do though? Something to slow cars through the unsighted flat out corners? An extra chicane at raidillon or eau rouge they have to take if its wet?

  • C4 do some amazing single origins. Headset is my favourite blend there. They did an advent calendar last Christmas with 25 different columbian and a writeup on each grower. Was so good.

Flight Coffee are pretty good too

  • Yeah wireshark would be my first bet. All you are really looking for is a ntp server that it's trying to reach on udp port 123. If its not using ntp then it gets waaaay harder as they have rolled time sync into their own Api

  • Yeah the celeron and pentium models are amazing low power machines to run Home Assistant on. Mine is running half a dozen other docker addons including frigate to do ai object detection (offloading most of the heavy lifting to a Google coral chip plugged into usb)

Being the default industry standard meant drivers were never a hassle

  • I use some glue stick if it still lifts off on a cleaned textured plate, needs cleaning off and refreshing every few prints. If its still bad or you have a small connection area, add a brim in the slicer
