  • I think a big part of the anger was about the fact that it was a hard retcon. It used to be official in the lore that "all space marines are male," but Games Workshop changed it to "there have always been female space marines".

  • Why do we need custom backgrounds for our phones and computers? That's free space that could be ads. Especially good if clicking/tapping on the background causes a full screen, unclosable, unskippable ad. Because a misclick is definitely showing interest in the product.

Browser load times. Slow that down a bit, and you've got enough time to pop an ad in between every page load.

  • EA gonna EA

    Jump
  • Only ea games I can think of that I've bought are jedi: fallen order and jedi: survivor. And I only bought them because they're actually good games that aren't monetized like a casino.

  • Short answer: yes

Long answer: one way I think of it in terms of classifying tags. We have the 'human' tag and the 'sinner' tag. Jesus has the 'human' tag and the 'God' tag. He didn't have less of the 'human' tag than we do, same with the 'God' tag than the other parts of the whole of God.

Again, more oversimplifications, because this shit is weird.

  • Conceptually useful bots (even if they aren't always great) like those two I approve of. You can easily ignore them, but they're there for when you want them.

The meme bots that were on reddit like grond we could do without. They were fun at the time, but I'm glad we don't have them here.

  • I haven't heard it used to describe doors

It is used in another place in the Bible for this.

used for the sides of a polygon

That's probably a better example. I only picked the doors example because it was the best one that I knew of an instance of the word being used that way.
