There is no way for 99% of us to recycle any of our pla or petg. There are a few pilot programs one in Germany. They have you ship them your scrap and give you credit towards a recycled spool.
I'm not a huge fan of the way the documentation reccomends you test for the ringing. They basically change the tune +x amount every layer and you pick the best looking layer. Thus you know what cancelation frequency works. This is subjective. I prefer the klipper style where you actually measure the ringing in the print and enter the length of x rings per x mm over y speed.
Everyone has to chose what's right for them. The reality is Facebook having and selling that data will never impact the average person. But not be part of the family because you are not on Facebook is a real thing that will affect people.
