  • This is the only article of clothing I’m passionate about. I’ve bought things thinking they’d change my life before, none ever panned out. Saxx or an equivalent like b3neath seriously reduced my swamp ass, bat wing, and just generally made me a nicer person. People think I’m happy at work now.

  • That’s for one container of wholesale batter, IHOP is not paying that price because they’re buying a lot more.

I don’t know if this is helpful, but when I worked at Olive Garden 10 years ago, a spaghetti and meat sauce cost them $1.09. That includes everything, labor, etc.

  • Most games released with a plus have some new features or modes. In app purchases are not allowed for arcade games. I got it because the bundle with iCloud storage and Apple Music is a better deal for my fam, and though I don’t game a lot on my phone, it’s nice to know I won’t encounter scam micro transactions when I’m trying to fucking relax.

  • Do you have a local library?

I would start there if you do. The people who work there are in love with books and will have great recommendations for you.

If you like to laugh and you like fantasy, check out Terry Pratchett. The Night Watch series is my favorite Start with “Guards! Guards”.

Look into buying books on your phone or tablet. Both apple and Google frequently have “books under $5” sales. It’s not ideal for the physical feel of reading a book, but you can usually change the font and font size, which may make it more readable for you.

Hope this is helpful. The more you read the better you get at it, and the more you enjoy it.

  • Ooh I have diabetes! What a wonderful bonus tax we get to pay each year to do frivolous things like eating.

I wonder how many awesome things the world has missed out on because people with chronic illnesses must have good insurance or do poverty wage jobs to get Medicaid.

It kind of boils down to: do i deserve to live or not? If so, why do I have to outperform everyone just to make a wage I can afford to live one? Some people’s deductibles are like grand. Some people’s out of pocket max is like 10k. (Out of pocket max is the point where insurance covers 100% of prescriptions. Insulin and supplies can be like 1k/month)
