I too got hl2 free my graphics card, it was some kind of special edition that had like better cooling or something. It came in a special case too.
Unfortunately there was something wrong with it, don't remember what. But I went back to the store and they didn't had a replacement for it.
But for 50 bucks extra I could get a other, better card. They paid 50 themselves as a customer service thing, very nice that was!
I ended up flashing the card to unlock it to a higher tier card, never had any problems with it. So it was a truly great experience for me when hl2 launched.
Fellow sept 12th here! Never would have thought that the simple looking launcher would turnout to be one of biggest juggernaut of selling digitale games!
Had to make a account so I could keep on playing CS 1.6. good times.
Well I bought a lot of third party games because I like to play game portable and the steam deck wasnt available yet.
I also like the Nintendo boxes for the physical games. I think they look nice and I will always buy a third party game if I really like it. For example I bought enter the gungeon digital and it's one of my favorite games, so I just had to have it physical.
But now with the steam deck I can have access to all my other libraries, so now I don't feel so appealed to buy third party games on switch. Also saves a ton of money because your don't have to pay the "Nintendo tax".
Oh man, this jogs old memories of when I almost every weekend went to this lan game cafe. We mostly played counter strike, quake arena and age of empires.
But at one point every night we would fire up this game and the whole place would turn in to chaos. It was great.
Kitboga's work is just epic. With all the programs he develops, sound effects, other people to help him, etc he uses it's just like a modern day version of a radio hear play.
Damn, it's going to be tough.
Have you tried https://www.steamidfinder.com/ ? I don't think it would give more information than the calculator, but you can try.
What if you try adding the saving as a new friend? Maybe it will give some more information?
