I told my employees to come back to work right away as soon as COVID disappeared. There are important things that they need to do around the office that they can’t do sitting around in their underwear at home, that’s not what I pay them for

It’s a shame that the government is spending so much time and money on this case to throw people in jail for an honest mistake.

Because we know that when you’re working from home you’re just playing TikTok and eating cheese puffs for half the day. When you’re in the office the manager can help you stay focused and get more work done. Plus, you don’t have the same kind of camaraderie and team spirit over a zoom call. I used to go into the office at my business several times a month just to tell my employees how much I appreciate them with a hearty pat on the back. Now that they aren’t there, how can I even do that? Send a back-patting emoji to them on zoom?

Employees need to bite the bullet and come back to work. You had enough time sitting around in your underwear and skating off.

No, that’s not free speech. Free speech is supposed to be for protecting businesses, not for hurting them. If you hurt somebody’s business, you gotta pay for that. Freedom isn’t free.

Exactly this. Last year I paid so much in taxes that I almost had to cancel one of my ski trips to the Swiss alps and had to think really hard about whether to hold off on buying a new private jet (my old one is already several years old and it makes me feel embarrassed when my friends have a newer one than me).

I agree, the ADL should be shut down for saying bad things about a job creator like Elon. Also, all the businesses that decided to stop buying ads on Elons site should also be shut down, it’s a blatant violation of the law for them to do that.

You’re definitely confused. The number one type of theft is people stealing from shops and businesses. It happens all the time! Sometimes people come in a big group and run through the whole store stealing stuff just for the fun of it. You see it every day on the news.

Wage theft? I’ve never even heard of that on the news at all, it’s not happening every day like shop theft. But it is a problem. I have employees that I pay 8 hours of wages to and sometimes when I look at the security cams I see that they actually spent several hours sitting around chatting to each other instead of working so yes, it happens. But people stealing from the shop is still the worst kind of theft possible.

That’s wrong, stealing from a business is never ok. Businesses are what give people jobs and money, and you think it’s ok to just go around taking even more from them? After everything they have done for you? The owner of this shop can probably barely afford to make ends meet. When you steal a Banksy shirt you’re basically stealing food from that business man’s many children. Just because you love Banksy shirts so much. Think about that.

Everything they have is from theft? Wrong, they buy that stuff from other countries like Bangladesh (where they are also creating jobs by the way).

It’s never ok to hurt somebody’s business just because you disagree with them giving free speech to everybody. The ADL should pay Elon for the damage they did to his business

Everybody is blaming the driverless cars but who is blaming the ambulance for putting itself in that situation? A driverless car can’t be at fault, it always does what it should. Humans are the ones who make mistakes.
