  • I have only one objection to the otherwise very welcome criticism of the incompetence and deliberate misconduct, as well as the highly entertaining memes:

It's been all too distracting from the question of why we were even bombing Yemen in the first place.

  • I love the whole look, and especially the stripes on just one calf! Drawing the eye to the gray zone so we don't miss the doggie bag! The leggings/socks combo keeping you warm and also covered in case the December wind blows your skirt up. Or in case you just want to do a twirl! Pockets in the jacket in case your hands get cold.

  • I'm not really part of this discussion but for a lot of people brought to the US as little kids, they don't know anyone in Mexico, maybe don't even speak or read Spanish well enough to get settled there on a moment's notice

  • I've used pre-boarding a lot, because my husband is quadriplegic, and especially when we also had two small children. There was always at least an offer of assistance from the crew, although I did the lifting and transferring and wheelchair-stowing myself. But it's been a lot of years since we've flown at all, because planes have become even more inaccessible. They're exempt from the ADA so it's hard to change anything.

  • Actually, the crew should have taken one look when her kid was pre-boarded with that equipment and politely changed them to seats where it could be used safely, before they got all settled and before boarding the rest of the plane.

  • Makes a lot more sense than ASTROnesians, as spelled above, which makes them sound like aliens. Which is silly, because everyone knows aliens only land in either densely populated metropolitan areas (NYC, Tokyo, etc) or in the desert near Area 51.

  • They talk about discovering more people when they have to move them to new homes because of dam construction. Are they entirely sure all the people in the new homes were originally in the area that will be affected by the dam? Seems like a ripe opportunity for fraud and/or bribery.
