There are other forms of racism than institutionalized/systemic racism. There is never an acceptable time to be racist. There never is an acceptable group to target with racism. Permitting any racism is excusing all racism.
Older white American here. Historically speaking "crackers" were poor white folks from Appalachian Georgia and the Florida "pan handle" (the bit on top) thus cracker isn't just racist it is historically classist as well.
The Jeffersons, a 1970s TV show featuring an upwardly mobile black family moving into a more affluent neighborhood, featured George, the main character, calling a few racist white folks crackers popularizing the term for whites in general.
I don't see myself as a cracker. Im not poor nor was I southern. Any ancestor that I had that owned slaves did so centuries ago as none of my relatives who could own slaves did so. The fact that I can ignore racist terms directed at my race is a really strong sign of privilege.
In the mid 1980s I visited a landfill as part of a school project. They took a back hoe and plowed over a mound and pulled out legible newspapers from the early 1960s. A kid found a working radio. You might be surprised how well some things get preserved in landfills.
Almost every single 4 star restaurant is using premade stuff to cook faster. Why laminate dough yourself if the bakery down the road makes it better than ypu at a cheaper price
There’s a significant difference as most fascists do not engage in attempts to eliminate parts of humanity in order to facilitate the creation of a master race. Not all fascists are that level of crazy.
