Creed gets hate becayse the music is cookie cutter and it’s that bullshit form of performative Christianity that has no actual faith behind it.

Smashmouth and Imagine Dragons would fit too. It seems every few years there’s a band everyone decides they like and then a few years later everyone suddenly hates them.

Im 50 and white. A lot of the people I know who hated the halftime show aren’t hip-hop fans and/or have trouble interpreting dance performances. The racist people I know just didn’t watch it at all.

True but many of the people who back this will mouth nonsense about how CA would be the 5th richest nation when that position entirely depends on being part of the USA. Once the agriculture businesses cease getting US subsidies and the tech sector flees California would not be so wealthy.

Tech will go where their money goes and those employees will follow.

Rounding things up brings up the cost of goods and removes more money from their pockets.

Yeah for some reason nobody has on a black man to criticize white culture but they will do the opposite often.

I was in my late 20s back then. Anyone who told me they were into Creed during that time always ended up being the guy the women around would all have a story about regarding abusive behavior.

California's economy is extremely dependent on being part of the USA. They barely cover the hap between money taken from the government and what they contribute and it is fairly easy to make the case they take more.

The government would not need to invade. The moment they make clear that CA farmers cannot access the Colorado river waters like they used to and that any foreign tech company is no longer able to access US DOD money you will see tech be willing to move and agriculture collapse in CA. After gutting any aide and scholarships for students attending CA schools and the USA will have crippled the top 3 industries in CA without firing a shot.

CA wouldn't be akin to France ir Italy if it left the USA it would be more like Mexico economically.

A lot of our phone and internet cabling goes through there and they control a chunk of the Colorado river which CA needs to overwater their fields.

The question is why does everyone think of this as a single use item? If a penny gets used 4 times it covers its cost.

That will make everything more expensive and harm the poor.

This would only make sense if we only used the coin once. It does not matter that it costs more to mint the coin as they are not single use items.

What getting rid of small change does is directly harm the less well off.

We reuse pennies so this claim has never made sense

Beyonce like many big pop artists gets a songwriting credit if she performs on the song. This is standard as it gets you a cut of 5e sales. That being said, I have a hard time believing someone else wrote Lemonade.

I have a hard time believing "Lemonade" an album about her husband's infidelity didn't involve her contributions at the very least.

I suspect you would find a huge chunk if CA’s military gear requires stuff from other states.

It wouldnt matter as IRL the tech industry would jump ship and most who would be involved in this understand that fact.

True but few are as important as CA.

So many people have no idea how the larger picture works but think they do. I hope Im in the camp that recognizes their limited grasp of the bigger picture.
