  • I've had a few people say the same thing, so you're probably recalling it correctly

  • My point is that private citizens are having to pay for what obviously would be a breach in their infrastructure. THEY picked the wrong person for the job and the wrong person did the wrong thing, and now the private citizens have to pay for it. I'm not a lawyer, a social scientist, or a high ranking knowledgeable gov't official, but even I can see something fishy has happened and now the every man has to pay for it. IMO that's a pretty typical response when there's a leak. People who are minding their own business and just trying to live life have to pay for the gov't's negligence. We can blame the individual, but the people who have access to that material are required to go through rigorous screening. Why do private citizens have to pay for the governments failure?

  • Haha. That would probably make it better. But no. My immature 35 year old ass did that

  • 3 times in my life I can tell you that I had heat exhaustion. One time I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital. It is the absolute worse feeling I've ever experienced

  • AND when they do get caught in something of that nature, they don't really shut down. They change the company name under a new license and then magically get all the contracts that the previous company had

  • I like to keep faith that there are still some in-betweeners that need a simple sway to one direction to see reason. And coming from a southern baptist background is that they are hyper critical of who plays their lord and savior and who says what can tarnish the lord and saviors name. Anyone who crosses that line might as well break the seven seals themselves cause boy, are they damned

  • You're absolutely right. However there were rules and amenities put in place way before we were born

I'll give you an example. When I worked as a utility locator, I caught a GC's team doing HARD drugs on a construction site. I reported it to the county. Nothing happened. Same team, same habits. I would speak to the GC directly about their teams, and they didn't care.

A week passes and the entire site is roped off with police tape. A heavy machinery operator from that team ended up running a cleaner over in one of those JLG cherry pickers with the monster truck tires. Turns out he had meth and thc in his system. He was fired. No charges towards the individual or the GC because it was chalked up to a workplace accident.

Now why were they able to get away with that you ask? GC's have to maintain state and county contracts and they even do work for the counties and states. They literally have all the power when it comes to construction. The only real way to get a GC shut down is if there are multiple accidents resulting in an unusual number of injuries or death. But even then, that's usually when the feds and OSHA get involved

  • It's basically the same thing you would expect a crazy homeless guy to be screaming on a street corner. "The Jews have space lasers!" "Drag queens are coming for your children!" "Repent! Repent! Repent!"

It's all the same thing over and over again. My honest opinion is stop giving these psychos the time of day. Sure it won't fix the problem today, but nothing will. However we should not give them the time of day and treat them like they're off their rocker because they are. We should stop giving them a platform to say their crazy thoughts

  • Good way to m lose your business license if you aren't a general contractor. But since they are, supervisor is getting fired and nothing else is going to change.

  • Yeah but Jim Caviezal is nuttier than squirrel turds. Why do we care what he says?

  • Hmm water

    Jump
  • Water is made out of molecules that are generated from the interaction between 2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom. That molecule is known as dihydrogen monoxide

  • That's the point of deleting their history. To make reddit b useless. After a while, reddit will stop generating in the algorithm for search engines and they'll take a hit in their grip on internet media. It's a long game.

However me saying that isn't the reason why I deleted my account. I'm on the side that was interested in the change, but the mods that I interacted with got worse and worse. All of the subs were becoming politic cesspools of more hate and less communicating. I started to notice a theme where redditors were turning on birds of the same feather as well. Reddit as a whole is rabid and I got tired of it. Now my biggest fear is that the same garbage people that were on reddit are going to just ruin the fun on a different platform. People suck I guess

  • Reports say that he had a history of violent behavior when he was stationed in Korea. He was meant to fly home due to disciplinary action in a few days before crossing the DMZ into NK

But looking at history of NK and how they treat Americans who enter the country, I hope he said his goodbyes

  • People are strange

  • Lol. Big surprise when an insurance company is going to act like an insurance company. "You aren't taking the necessary steps that our insurance requires, so we're not going to cover you." That's how it goes. Plus if Patronis just seems like he doesn't know the difference between the political and social lines.
