  • Not OP and not as educated in leftist theory, but the difference is nobody works inside the coat to produce that value. The purpose of that bit is to ensure one cannot profit from another's labour by virtue of one owning the means of production, or at least that's how I've always understood it.

  • I was looking into Cyberpunk! Reading through my files I realized I got the sourcebook with the game. Ended up getting Carbon 2185 and already looking into making some homebrew systems to take it into a shadowrun esque bent. Will have to talk my guys into that one though, some of them aren't interested in a cyberpunk run, maybe once I pitch those HBs they'll get into it.

I had to take up DM duties for this run and assure everyone I'd take it easy on them, so they can learn systems and all. Turns out I really like world building and planning sessions, but RPing characters is really hard for me. I got a very monotone voice and my range of accents is very limited. Making up for it with a ton of planning though. I'll make sure to pass on my workflow to whomever ends up DMing after me.

  • It still is a little lib-ish. The game goes to great lengths at showing Silverhand (and anyone blaming capitalism) as being a bit too harsh or off their rocker, with V explicitly mocking his leftist opinions in dialogue many times (replaying the game, once during an elevator ride, another after dealing with the chapel in pacifica). The game is very on the nose about blaming corporations but spares the rod when talking about the system.

  • It's so great. One time, I threw a bin at a bar's window and the next time I came around, it had been covered in plywood.

The game feels responsive, it just needs a bit more variety in cases, mod support would be great, too.

  • Honestly, I'd rather have stellar voice acting and okay graphics (not good, just not bad enough to turn it off after it makes me dizzy) than the other way around. Graphics lose their appeal after a short while in-game.

  • Don't think PhilosophyTube has been mentioned. Abby's great at taking complex topics and condensing them down to understandable discourse, and the videos are funny to boot. She used to do videos focused on philosophy but now applies that philosophy to popular subjects.

  • Reddit killing off third party apps. I'll blow a leper before I use the official one. Lemmy was a good enough replacement at the time, and nowadays I only visit reddit when I need super specific information that might've been asked in the past 10 years.

  • Couple days after. Must've gotten it in the gym, cus I worked from home at the time, and didn't even go out to buy groceries. Started with a slight, but constant and distracting headache. Different to a hunger headache or a migraine, like a needle hammered into my head. Masked up that day and shut myself in, told my family I'd distance for a bit until I got a negative result. First week was hell, barely got out of bed.

Long covid sucks too. Somehow my right ankle and right shoulder got screwed up, developed joint damage.

  • One of two. Ghosts and Ghouls on snes, I was like 4 but wasn't scared. And the other one is not a horror game but for 6 year old me it was scary as shit, Halo CE. The Library level and the one before, 343 Guilty Spark, were hell for me. Beating those levels was a goddamn relief.

  • Ooo, cool, thanks! I'll talk my guys into splitting the cost after this campaign is over. We're using Owlbear rn, but I'm doing everything myself on Sheets, Ps, Ai, Notion and making my maps in Rimworld. Hefty workflow I'm not sure the next person who wants to DM will be down for.
