When I was in high school I was working in a grocery store for an after-school job. While on a weekend shift, a customer didn't seem to be having a good day and lashed out at me for not being to find something. A lady who I've never seen before came to my defense and stood up for me against the guy and actually vouched for me to my supervisor who came to intervene. That was the last time I think anyone has ever stood up for me.
I'm working on a freelancing project for a company that's going to be paying me over $5k for the work I've done. I don't know what I'm going to be using the money for but it'll be nice to not have to worry about money for a while.
I was maybe in grade 6 and it was after class with only myself and two other classmates. Guess these two had beef with each and started fighting. I wanted NO part in it and I was a scrawny shrimp so I walked away. After the teacher came in and broke it up we all got into trouble. The other two got into trouble for fighting and for me the teacher told me I should've done something to stop it.
My second year of University a guy fell off the roof and didn't make it. Everyone was sent home while they cleaned everything up. That was the first time I cried for someone I didn't know.
I let my imagination run wild. I believe whatever society you can of, sci-fi, medieval, fantasy, steam punk, I believe it's all out there. Waiting to be discovered. There's got to be a planet out there filled with humans, like us, but they live in cloud cities and live intertwined with another species. The Grey's are robots they use, like Detroit become human, as assistants. Or, there is a society where magic is the norm. They believe it's magic but to us, it's the manipulation of matter, powerful magnets, and transformation of states of matter.
Anything better than our boring, 9-5, money based, car dependant society.
My dream is to one day become that wise old person you climb a mountain top to visit and to have them bestow wisdom upon. You're not alone, friend. But, taking breaks, even if it's as short as watching a funny movie, reading a good book, or sitting in a park with some coffee or tea. Pouring out a cup as it's being filled , even it's a little bit, will stop it from overflowing.
That very interesting. I sort of had a dream similar to your second one. I was driving around the city I went to university in with my parents. I remember everything looked completely normal. As if I wasn't dreaming. Then, I remember as soon as we started to drive after a stoplight turned green I remember hearing a loud beep. Like a computer or the beep of a microwave. As soon as I heard that everything froze. Like time had stopped. I was looking around and all the vehicles that surrounded us were frozen in my place and so we're my parents.
Hashbrowns and eggs with bacon. Cook some thinly sliced bacon, almost like bacon bits, and in the grease cook Hashbrowns. Then, once they're both cooked, crack a few eggs over everything and cook that. Serve with seasoning salt.
Slow zombies? I'd do my very best to get back home. I moved for work so I'd do a cross country road trip to get back home. I think slow zombies would be easy to avoid if you plan and be very careful. Fast zombies on the other hand is a different story. Left 4 dead zombies? Probably die and become a boomer or a spitter.
I watched a low budget movie on prime called Alien Invasion. There's a short scene of the main character driving by some homeless guy and he grunted to her when she asked him a question and she got scared and drove away. Funniest scene I ever saw due to how stupid it was.
It's actually going not too bad compared to last year. This time last year I was living in my mom's basement, anxiety ridden, lonely, and had no money. Now, I'm in my own place, have some money to spend on myself finally, and my anxiety has gone down significantly. Still lonely but now I can distract myself and have a lot of online people I talk to no so...better than nothing. So far, I'd say not too bad.
