Thats because the mods of that community also don't understand lemmy either. Their could be a million communities for the same topic. It doesn't matter.
I dont think you understand the point of Lemmy. Lack of centralization is key! And not just of instances, but communities too. Fragmentation is kind of the point.
And those semantics are very important to people and ridiculously easy to do right, so why do it wrong on purpose unless you are deliberately an asshole?
We have plenty without that. I've blocked every single repost bot I've seen, also any actual person who reports from reddit. And I still have plenty of content.
You need to learn how to properly prune your feed. I got some of that stuff briefly, but I kept blocking it and choosing not interested and eventually it stops. My feed shows me nothing I dont want now. Its just a matter of shaping it into what you want.
