A tradeoff between convenience and usecase. I personally would only use json/jq for complex data processing needs. But then i would use Python, not shell.
When Reddit rebranded itself as “the heart of the internet” a couple of years ago, the slogan was meant to evoke the site’s organic character. In an age of social media dominated by algorithms, Reddit took pride in being curated by a community that expressed its feelings in the form of upvotes and downvotes—in other words, being shaped by actual people.
Not since the APIcalypse at least.

Because it costs extra for little benefit. LTE was a choice for my notebook. I just set my phone to wifi tether, saved me $200.
Edit: or did you mean being able to make calls from your computer? I looked into this a while ago, since digitized call processing is just VOIP on a large scale. In my country at least, the providers only sell whole packages of numbers, usually to companies where you can rent one for use with your run-of-the-mill VOIP software. Of course it's nonetheless thightly regulated, because of regional and limited numbers and against abuse.
Then make it a form that's suited for transport? Horse/panther form is primarily suited for animal, not for transport. I don't know, maybe legs you can bolt to a container?
