  • You drive 100km down residential streets every day? Main roads will not have this speed limit.

At those speeds you might as well not even bother with a car.

That's kind of the point. Cars are horribly inefficient at moving people, terrible for the environment, and turn cities into dangerous and awful places to be.

  • I got docked points on my test for going 30 in a residential zone. I didn't fail and I know the tester is just doing their job but daaamn. Encouraging a 17 year old kid to go 50 down side streets with only enough space for a single car, interesting strategy.

17 is way too young to be driving in the first place, but that's another conversation.

  • Guerilla warfare being an established concept doesn't make it immune to criticism. You can still criticize Hamas even if their tactics are similar to your example about the Jews in Prague.

I'm not siding with IDF I just don't think this argument holds a lot of weight.

  • I know this is a joke but idc. The reason for basically every quirk of pronunciation/spelling in English is borrowed words, of which English has very many. Tamales is an obvious/good example.

  • Costco meats are very good quality afaik so that might be why they seem similar prices, or meat is just not something you save on at costco. Buying cheese at costco is like 75% off & cereal is like 50% off. Pretty sure I could make a costco membership worth it with 1 visit of non-perishables.
