  • Let's be real, that's the last place anyone would look for a torrent client

  • Reinvent the wheel? No, it's time to reinvent outdated media formats!

  • That's quite an advantage if you can actually stomach what it looks like

I mean, it honestly wouldn't look so bad on a 32:9 monitor.

  • Theoretically you could get it with little to no buffering by writing an analog TV signal to the disk, no?

  • Kakao has nothing even resembling a legitimate claim. They aren't even fucking American. Tachi should just tell them to shove it straight up their gook asses

  • But don't worry, the tachi devs genuinely consider the mass bs dmca spam from kakao to be entirely good faith and legitimate

  • The devs just completely folded to some bogus copyright claims against their extentions

  • The biggest issue would be that of security. Unlike a platform like Amazon marketplace, where you have Amazon processing the payment, and providing a fair bit of guarantee, this would be the wild west since anyone, anywhere could spin up an instance and start defrauding people and stealing their card info. Hell, even just flooding bogus listings would severely cripple usability.

  • Correct. There's nothing shady about ignoring retarded laws for an irrelevant jurisdiction

  • There's nothing shady about ignoring what eurotrash politicians want.

  • It's EU garbage. The answer is that it doesn't work and is designed to fuck people over

  • This. The 4090 absolutely crushes this generation of cards, hands down. And while irs expensive, it also feels like a "pay more get more" type deal. Even just dropping down to the 4080, it starts to raise questions about the price. It's barely a step over the 3090 and 3080, but gets priced as if it's hitting alongside the 4090

  • My guy, reddit doesn't even care if your email is valid. Just use some keyboard spam like aocjd@sjd.aa, it will accept it

  • You'd be surprised how often the actual, physical hardware is just chugging along on "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mindset.

  • Sega has a surprising amount of stuff under their belt. The Yakuza games would be the biggest example. Atlus and all the megami tensei series are Sega.

  • Maybe they should start off by figuring out how to actually make a good game

  • Your last paragraph is spot on. When I bought a 4090, frame generation wasn't even a consideration. I'm already throwing money into my computer to get the best framerate on the consumer market using a single card. I have no need for smudgy frames when I can already shove max settings through the card for 60+ fps on most everything I play. Almost like that's why I bought the damn thing.

And yeah, I've played around with frame generation a handful of times. It's a neat gimmick. But ultimately, that's all it really feels like. It's something I can flip on to flex about the absolutely ludicrous frame rates the card can get.

But from my experience on the other side of the fence before I got my current pc, I would've absolutely loved to trade a little bit of clarity for extra frames. It would've pushed a lot of stuff just over the line of being comfortable to play. Or being able to trade off some motion clarity and bump up the graphics a bit while keeping a playable fps.

  • Man, I didn't even watch ten different shows this year, let alone things that released this year. In order of favorites, the new things I watched are mushoku tensei 2, shield hero 3, and Dr stone (the numbers are too scuffed to remember). And all of those are just continuations of existing series. I'd love to just automatically give GuP Das finale 4 the top slot, but there's no English translation out and I'm not flying to Japan to watch it in person.
