They fixed a lot of load issues as of this morning so it might be okay. Lemmy.world itself already feels way more responsive. You have a point tho, might be better to host a Wine community on more FOSS centric instances.
OBS and COPR don't even come close to the AUR in terms of ease of use. AUR is one searchable index, OBS and COPR are more like separate repositories that you have to find and add manually. There's multiple people building the same packages and you have to figure out which one you want to rely on. You also can't easily edit the packaging instructions and rebuild a package if it doesn't work for you.
For me, it was Cyberpunk 2077. I wanted to run around Night City with ultra graphics and raytracing. Too bad it launched in such a badly optimized state.
Given how prevalent web technologies are, I am honestly surprised there isn't a push towards having one common Electron installation per version and having apps share that. Each app bundling its own Electron is just silly.
