  • Just this year he lost a bid to build a new property which was to be built into a remote hillside alongside Lake Wanaka on New Zealand's South Island.

So no. No bunkers. Didn't get approval and would be a pretty easy to find if someone gets approval for a bunker somewhere.

Those two articles. Both articles and not much more than speculation.

One article actually hints at it. However it doesn't change the facts. NZ is a Yellowstone waiting to happen. Bunker or not the island is toasts.

Also there's a reason NZ doesn't have skyscrapers an d concrete buildings. The amount of earthquakes would make building a bunker pretty dam near impossible.

Deeper you dig to hide from calamity above you. Closer you get to calamity below you.

  • Can you link to these NZ bunkers ?

Also you know that NZ is basically a giant volcano. Lake Taupo, is a scheduled to blow and will wipe out most of the north island.

It isn't some magically island paradise that the rich can runaway from the world.

  • They fucking do.

Love me a gherkins. Can take or leave a cucumber.

Same with cheese. Will drink milk but I'm not eating a 500g block of milk.

Cabbage is ok. Sauerkraut is da bomb.

Onions are probably the ones that defy this. I'll eat pickled but prefer non fermented.

    Jalapenos pickled too.

  • I had about 5 swan plants.

I get why the rate of decline in monarchs.

They would eat a plant to destruction them move on to the next one. I lost hundreds of caterpillars. Still have some cocoons that didn't survive from last year.

They really need to come up with a better plan. Also doesn't help that swam plants are poisonous to a bunch of other animals. So can't plant them anywhere near where other animals are.

  • Obviously. It was just a suggestion. Thanks for the agreement 👍

Yeah. Not talking about the bullshit supermarket delivery service. That is awful. A new system built from ground up. Really cutting out supermarkets entirely. Work with local producer's to consolidate in service hubs. Then move from out of those zones.

Fresh fruit and vegetables really needs a different system entirely.

I have heaps of veggies currently and most are going into compost or to the cows. I can consume the amount a single zucchini outputs, let alone 4.

Yet other than putting it in a food bank where it will likely rot. I have no other options.

There's millions in a similar situation. It doesn't benefit me to give it away not does it benefit me to produce tonnes of waste.

Supermarkets are in exactly the same situation. Summer rocks up and they start basically giving away produce or it will spoil.

  • I honestly would like a system where I just buy all my stuff online and pick it up or it's dropped off. I buy the same shit.

It would be more practical to have an enormous Amazon style warehouse with all the food items.

Then we pick our food orders and a delivery comes out. Maybe with the post service or bin service.

Whoever is already driving around to every single house.

Me having to drive fo supermarket isn't great anyway. Just clogs the roads.

Drone delivery system. Sign me up

  • Very much looking forward to this. Pissed I have to buy it for a third time. Bought original for PC many moons ago. Then the same version on steam. Then the remastered version on steam. And will again be buying the re re re mastered version on steam.

  • I've never tried. Have a pretty severe gag reflex so doubt I'd enjoy it.

I really hoped Hyperloop world work too. Maybe that is the core of the issue. I'll look at the investor report. Pretty sure both companies had products in warehouses but would need to check again

  • Then that is very concerning, you tried to purchase and they didn't respond?

I get that but doesn't a patent need to be viable. Sound science. I can't patent something that isn't feasible.

Gravity changes in space. Black holes. Dark matter. Isn't that a Change. Nothing to do with nerd. Just stuff. The laws are laws on Earth.

Ossia a different company has products on warehouses. They are bring out a product. Similar to wattup.

Yeah I read that, the current system might not work but they potentially can bring something to market. Maybe not.

I don't think it's sucking the corporate dick. Just would be useful to have. Bigger batteries would solve the issue. But still.

    Bit agro aye

  • Ok I grasp all that. Pie in the sky.

What about this kinda stuff ?

And roads that charge cars as they drive.

    Isn't that the same tech.

Even just a watt or 2 to the phone. Wouldn't need to charge it just slow down the rate of discharge.

I have no background in science. I can't math so science doesn't work for me. I have to take information from what others state.

I can verify by researching it but other than than. 2 statements could be factually correct or inherently wrong.

  • Did you look at the website? They have products in the market. They have them in warehouses. They are sensors using fractions of power. But it's still a product.

The videos showing it, the patents and again products.

They do change though. In space things work differently. And they also don't change but have been incorrectly observed. The way we see things. Experiment and then prove that when x does this y does this. But sometimes x does something because r was present but we didn't know that.

Not saying laws change. That whoever first theorized it wasn't correct. There was something else.

But this is a pointless argument. You are set in your ways. Science is great. I'm still invested in it and will purchase the product when it comes to market.

I'll wait. Check out reviews and then go from there. Either they have managed to overcome the limitations or they haven't.

If they haven't then company goes bust. End of story. Another scam to add to the list.

  • I know. Ces award. It actually got 7. I don't know what that says.

In any case. It has products and is bringing another to market. Will it work ? Your guess is as good as mine. Companies have partnered so they obviously think it's worth while. If the product is a flop then can say for sure.
