  • Child's Play, Doctors Without Borders, local soup kitchens, the ACLU, The Trevor Project, Action Against Hunger.

There are a few sites out there that rank charities based on transparency and impact, they might help you find something specific.

  • Respeccing doesn't drop your level and I'm hoping with all the returners and new players the DLC brings that I can sunbro low level content like Stormveil and the early caves again.

After my fill of that I'll level up to whatever content the DLC is geared to.

Plus this will give me a lvl 1 backup with most gear and spells for build testing.

  • I think the younger generations are finally shrugging off the apathy that plagued GenX and Millennials.

They're engaged, interested in broad ranges of subjects, are more aware of other cultures.

I also see a greater sense of kindness and community.

Being born into a shit world that has only gotten more shit, instead of just making sarcastic jokes about it they protest and organize, plan and research.

I like this and wish it wasn't so long coming.

Great job younger gens! Sorry you got the worst of this but I am more than willing to help put it all right once the boomers die off.

  • Elden Ring getting ready for the DLC.

I have a lvl 1 char that I've beaten about 90% of the game with, gathered most of the items and spells that's taken me about 7 months to get this far.

The plan is to beat everything but the last fight as lvl 1 so I can build to whatever is needed.

  • Mass Media is a propaganda tool of the owner class, it has always been this.

You can go back 100 years and see articles and editorials about 'how people nowadays don't want to work', even in the days when an 80 hour workweek was the norm.

  • My personal take: conservative men are obsessed with a toxic concept of manliness, and hold it as a monolithic and primary value, which is why they like to fall in line under large, angry people.

LGBTQ+ people confuse them, there are women who act more like men, and men who act more like women, challenging their conceptions.

Since, as a whole, conservatives reject introspection the challenge is interpreted as a personal attack.

Yes you read that right, conservatives feel that gay people just existing is a threat to their identity and lash out.

Almost all of it boils down to 'How DARE you force me to question my worldview!?'

  • I have worked IT for 2 Fortune 500 companies and let me tell you NONE of them took data security seriously.

Neither has 90% of any of the other sites I've worked on.

In my experience so few companies bother spending appropriately on it because IT is considered a cost center instead of a needed service.

  • Ok I have to admit you are right on that fact. Just I wish the articles weren't written as if this was some recent development in an otherwise moral party with reasonable differences in perspective that was willing to work on common ground.

Because republicunts are not that at all and the framing makes it seem like 'well they used to be up until this shocking moment', and we get those moments 2 or 3 times a month these days...

  • Our worldlines have been shattered, all metatemporal axes are out of phase and even the Timearch is without recourse on her plank space throne.

Remember back when the worst thing that happened was a handful of popular celebrities dying naturally?

There will come a time when you can't, and maybe that will make dealing with our current ecological, economic, and social collapse easier to bear as it gets worse and worse every day...
