  • This type of crap should be mega illegal. I feel like I see this all the time. I don't know how you would ever prove beyond a reasonable doubt that they are actually "laying people off" tho which I presume means it's unfortunately gonna stick around as a method for companies to avoid severance which sucks.

Also, not for nothing but San Fran and Austin are definitely not two most expensive cities in the country. San Fran is kinda up there. Maybe like top 5 in some lists. I legitimately couldn't find Austin in a single one but I only checked up to like the top 25 or 30 cities.

  • yep, and this is one of the arguments that bothers me the most. I've had numerous discussions with republicans that go something along the lines of "well both sides do it" or "it's only because a republican did it" and that drives me up a wall. It's like i don't hate political assholes that do stupid stuff because they're republican. I just hate political assholes who do stupid stuff... democrat or republican i don't care. If there's proof that they did stupid illegal crap, they should all be punished. i don't get why this is difficult to grasp lol.

  • Lol so you're telling me in the last 300 years (and I have absolutely no idea where you're pulling that time frame from) not one single conservative has ever changed or learned from their mistakes. 100% of them are just pure evil and "delight in the misery, oppression, and death of others."

On top of that you're also saying these are core values of these people, meaning the same holds true for any current and future conservatives. They're all pure evil and utterly incapable of change or learning anything.... Permanently.

I not a fan at all of conservatives by and large but I know plenty level headed non-bat shit crazy conservatives and (to my knowledge) they do not hold a party any time people die or someone gets oppressed lol.

This doesn't sound the least bit strange to you?

  • This is wild haha I wonder if it was just someone trying to piss off the studios by popping that in there for free or something? I guess that way it's guaranteed to never have ads for anyone, ad blocker or not.

  • You severely underestimate the power of religious dogma over a ton of people. A shit ton of people will forever be anti LGBTQ+ because they grew up with a religion that told them that it's wrong. No amount of persuasion up to and including their own children coming out will change that.

  • This is something I don't hear talked about as much as I think it deserves. Like, yeah if I had social media when I was a kid... Man I did so many embarrassing things that would've been blasted into tik tok or some shit for the world to see forever. But God if our parents had social media when we were kids? I shudder to think of the embarrassment that would've come from that lol

  • Lol wtf is this comment?? A person died and I wish I could spend time with them and your response is "well you probably chose not to spend time with them when they were alive."

That's a totally reasonable and measured response...

  • I see this answer a shocking amount and I don't get it. Do y'all not just... buy socks? You can buy like 8 pair for $10 and they last a long while...

Unless maybe everyone is talking about like super fancy socks or something?

  • This is the problem. It doesn't matter. For every interpretation one may have, someone else has an interpretation somewhere else in the scriptures that says the exact opposite according to them. The book itself is such a giant catchall for any motive one may have it's almost comical at this point. Virtually anyone can use it as evidence of support for or against just about anything.

  • I get that but let's look at this rationally. The grocery stores know their business (or at least I hope they do). So they either did one of two things.

    1. They made a goal that they knowingly could do nothing about and prices went up and the value of the dollar went thru the floor.

    Or

    1. They made a goal that they believed they could do something about and prices went up and the value of the dollar in their store went thru the floor.

In either case I would say they absolutely dropped the ball.
