Yep. I bet the middle aged male managers demanding “return to office” all have cleaners or housewives to do all the work.

A colleague why had Covid last week is back in the office and visibly not recovered. We Can either take sick day, come into office or wfh AND make up an extra office day. Meanwhile I hope my mask is doing its job.. I did have to remove it briefly to drink water though.

My milk powder isn’t dissolving in my tea. What’s its problem? (Don’t use liquid milk, not worth it for only 2 cups of tea a week)

Some rain. It wasn’t a big scary “rain event with damaging winds” like they made it out to be. It was a band of rain that came and left pretty quickly.

So many people out sick at the moment. I woke up with a sore throat and I’ve hardly been out and wear a mask.

Tourism in Australia is too expensive. I went overseas to Japan a few years ago, after pricing up a Queensland holiday for 2 weeks.

The $$ n95 masks that I coughed up for in small/medium size are still too big. My lower eyelashes shouldn’t be touching the mask. TIL my face is really small?

I just went to a doc appointment. We discussed migraines. An hour later I’m on instagram and I get a migraine medication ad. I had not googled anything about migraines or headaches or anything vaguely related. I’ve been working in tech for over 20 years now, and I’m now convinced it is all listening. It’s not just a paranoia any more.

It costs less than a new engine. But there are teslas at 200,000 miles (in the US) do it’s not as if they need new batteries every few years. (Had one for 7 years now, no sign of battery replacement required and only 2% degradation.
