Made the mistake of ordering woollies chicken Kyiv. 2 tiny, very hollow balls of chicken nugget meat with some nasty cheese type sauce inside. Never again.
Also got 8 strawberry iced donuts substituted for cinnamon donuts. Guess what flavour I really hate? My OH now has 8 donuts and I have none.
I hate it. People in the industry defend the welfare of the horses, but money changes everything for the worse. And the racing of undeveloped baby horses is awful, like you’ve said. But there’s no reason for the stakeholders to want to extend the horses longevity - it’s purely about money.
I have had horses for 20+ years, I cannot get behind the racing industry. There should just be virtual horse racing (just like virtual poker machines) - still get the money and no horses suffer. Same with greyhounds.
Got a refund from a cancelled insurance policy and the buggers sent a cheque. What am I supposed to do with that? No branch close by and they had my direct debit info.
More Covid in the office. I really don’t want to go in now, that’s 2 weeks in a row where someone’s ended up positive. My vax is up to date but have health issues and a sole trader husband that id hate to infect (no sick leave when you work for yourself)
At least someone told them to go home. Been in a workplace where the boss didn’t care. Everyone kept getting sick from this guy who would refuse to stay home when sick.
Outdoor furniture is hard to buy. It’s either super expensive or cheap crap that 50 online only stores are selling. I just want a nice wicker sun lounge. Thought I’d found a nice one in a shop but it was tiny and plastic. Sigh.
