  • The democrats are currently pressuring Israel and pushing back politically

How is Israel being pressured? Do you mean phone calls where Biden asks bibi to chill then sends him everything he wants anyway? That's not pressure. Pressure would be putting conditions on arms transfers and Biden won't do that so the only thing separating Ds and Rs on this issue is a very thin veil of rhetoric that no one believes anyway

  • First class

    Jump
  • When it's white people: there's commercial flights available but some are unable to book (because tickets limited? Because those people are too poor? No idea) so we have to use gov funds to make sure no one is left behind

When it's "brown" people: commercial flights are available if you've got the cash, if not, go fuck yourself

  • Based on which party they're registered as? That doesn't mean much, it doesn't mean they'd definitely vote for the D candidate if there wasn't another option. You're assuming that the D candidate otherwise has that vote locked down just by being a democrat.

You can't "steal" a vote because no one owns that vote except the individual voter and the individual voter is not being robbed when they decide to vote 3rd party.

  • Voting for Jill Stein is only "taking a vote away" from Harris if you assume that the voter would've voted for Harris without Stein in the race.

That's a big assumption and I don't think there's any good reason to make such an assumption.

  • Someone like a president can’t really do something like this without completely burning their political capital.

If only we had a president who is never going to hold office again and has nothing to lose right now... Damn our current pres is nothing like that

  • I don't think anyone on those tankers deserved to die but I also know that the hundreds of thousands killed in Gaza (and the West Bank) didn't deserve to die. Yemen is putting up a blockade and saying we will keep doing this until the genocide stops. It might be ugly but its a good cause and theyre the only country taking a stand. I applaud that. No shipping from anywhere to anywhere should go through the gulf of aden until the mass slaughter ends

  • Except for all those ships they’ve attacked that aren’t going to Israel, or controlled by Israel, or even have anything vaguely to do with Israel and her allies.

Source? I thought they were only attacking ships that dock in/ship to Israel?

Also, have they killed/indefinitely detained anyone? Or just cause property damage?

  • So If I want to help the people being genocided, I have to vote for the person doing the genocide and just hope that she has the Intention of changing things in the future even though she has shown zero signs of having that intention.

    This "democracy" isn't worth saving

  • The only two real options are both pro genocide, pro military industrial complex which tells me this country is fucked there's nothing I can do to help that. All I can do is follow my conscience and my conscience won't let me rest if I vote for genocide

  • The harris campaign is openly hostile to the anti-war anti-genocide vote. They are not interested in trying to get our votes. If they make the calculation that they need the anti-war vote to win they will try to appeal to us but they have decided (so far) that they don't want us and don't need us.

Don't blame us for not voting for a candidate who doesn't want our vote and is actively hostile to our position.
