Fair point. I didn’t even consider the ramifications of wording it like that instead of just saying it has a small throat.
I tend to use analogies a lot
It’s not even about wages. The precision tooling and engineering equipment would probably take a decade of development to get the US equivalent with China. We just don’t have it here.
And it’s not about rising wages with productivity. Americans by and large don’t want to work in factories or manufacturing. The pay would have to be astronomical to fill the needed positions.
Human breathing is controlled by the autonomic nervous system. We have to hold our breath on purpose to stop ourselves from automatically breathing. This makes us passive breathers.
Whales, however, are active breathers. They must choose to inhale which is why they can sleep without sucking in air. When they get too old, sick, or weak to surface, they suffocate.
Bonus fact: whales can’t breathe through their mouths; it goes straight to the stomach. The blowhole is the only respiratory tract.
Bonus bonus: a blue whale’s throat is so small it could choke to death on a grapefruit.
I only remember because there were two gas stations by my house and one of them you could not get gas at all because it was an all electronic system but the other one still had the manual handles you could flip up and the pumps still worked when they turned it on inside even without the screen
They’re getting way more money from stealing and selling data than ads anyway and really, TV and Radio only need to exist over the air for emergency or government stations so no income is needed. We shut off 3G, freeing up those radio and TV bands would be no problem.
I don’t know enough about your weapons systems. I only know about US (and thus NATO) small arms and the subsequent AK variants up through the 90s.
I have no knowledge of other countries’ squad weapons or larger).
