  • They wrote her to be pretty constantly on her ass throughout all 4 seasons, I just don't get this criticism. Yes she was naturally good at bending most elements and physically impressive, but that's pretty easy to accept when she has other major flaws that her character needs to grow to overcome.

  • Invincible is so good that watching s1 again is a treat.

Dr who.. you could watch literally no other eps and probably be about as caught up. It's a fairly contained show, even when it references itself.

  • Yeah good suggestion, that's the most progression focused one. And had some more guidance than others.

Beyond that, most tech packs would fit the bill, but you'd want to be somewhat familiar with the mods by that point. Thinking of like... create above and beyond, multiblock madness, sky factory...

  • Induction stoves are on another level. You could sort of argue about open flame vs glass top electric... Though even then, flame had big downsides.

But induction is just superior. Almost no energy loss. No heating the air from the element. No burns from the element. Almost instant response from temp changes.

I also am back on a propane stove and am working on replacing it.

  • Everything I researched was entirely focused on gas stoves being unhealthy, which seems to be the major issue.

Propane doesn't seem to show up in a general search on this topic, and the carbon monoxide levels from mine didnt seem to go up while in use. So I believe it's not as bad or even has the same problems.

That being said.. I think we can also generalize that burning solid fuel in the open inside your house is probably a bad idea.

I also hate open flame stoves for cooking they suck and I'll fight you on that. I'm extremely interested in getting this propane stove replaced with induction.

  • As they are insect hunters, yes their absence would fuck up our already damaged ecosystem. I would guess it would lead to a different insect getting out of control and causing tons of problems - like a non native leaf miner who then proceeds to multiply like crazy and obliterate all leaves off trees kind of deal.

  • Iirc the only main downside to all these apps is that you get a single answer, when it's usually more complex than that.

Seek/iNaturalist are great. I prefer the report style of iNaturalist and how it gives me a list of options, which I can use to try and narrow it down.

E.g. if I take a pic of a flower that looks like a dandelion, it could be a common dandelion, or hawkweed, or burnweed.. and of those there are a dozen sub species. Knowing which one is native is really important.

    Tldr yes
