My first experience was from back then also. It is much easier today than it was back then. It drove me crazy around 2008 or whenever I was fiddling around with it but today I would say it is easier than windows if you have an open mind.
I am not 100% sure on this but i belive that you could buy 1 game and then share it with your family members on switch and everyone (except the owner) could play it at the same time. This is now changed with virtual cards and only 1 person can play a game at any one time. Note that i do only own one switch so I am not a 100% sure about this.
Steam lets anyone in family play anything except playing the same game as the owner iirc. So it is very friendly to sharing whereas just a year ago or something the owner of the game you wanted to "borrow" had to not be playing anything for you to be able to play it.
Nintendo made sharing less friendly. Steam made it more friendly. Am I wrong?
Imagine if everyone in the world would just say "fuck no, I am not cooking for you" and the billionaires would die of starvation because they don't know how to do. Hilarious.
If you let the invaders win, how do you think the future will look? They will look around and go for more. Giving Russia what they want is not the way.
I tried dworak for awhile and just like switching from windows it is a bit rough sometimes. Every game you play have to change keybindings as a person who play a lot of different games it became too much. But writing was so good. So much easier and intuitive. Only took like a week or something to get into it.
Wish I had the patience to learn all units and their counters. Game grinded to a halt for me because of this even though I like it. Will give it another go some time this year.
I don't buy a lot of games that have pre-order any more but no, I don't. If I want to buy it before it is released and have a pre-order I do it the same day or just the day before release but I think I will stop with this too.
I often sort and read negative reviews, the ones that are well written. Then if it's still interesting i read a couple of positive ones to get a better sense.
Works for me.
Just reading random ones is pretty bad indeed. Gotta be source critical like always.
They are the same.
