  • I was a huge, massive, we're talking tattoos-of-the-bands-logo-on-my-body levels of fan of Avenged Sevenfold before Hail to the King came out.

    That album is re-hashed 80s thrash garbage, but everyone loves it. The first 3 hard rock/arena metal albums they made (City of Evil, self-titled, and Nightmare) are one of the best trilogies in heavy music. Then Jimmy passed away, and the band hadn't been the same since. I'm still a fan of the 2001-2010 A7X, but beyond that, I'ma take a pass.
