Do you get to choose it with a budget or they buy whatever cheap, uncomfortable thing was available? I'd much rather use my own equipment if I'm gonna be using it everyday.

Huh might depend on the specific rom. It's there on Sony along with pop up and multi window.

Does it not also exist on the bottom right in the recents view? This left-most position is the least useful. But I don't think it ever dissappeared for me.

De esta clase me gustó mucho la parte de escribir SQL pero todo lo técnico y teoria era bastante aburrido. Pero esa teoría sirve bastante en el trabajo porque pasas más tiempo diseñando la base de datos que escribiendo queries. Es probablemente de las clases más útiles de programacion.

Mi uni también tenía una parte 2 dónde escribimos una simple DB en C. Esto si me hizo cuestionar mi vida.

Ultimamente hay una nueva plaga en la pega. Un ai bot que se inserta a los meetings, guarda transcripciones y screenshots y hace un resumen al final. Al principio fue divertido pero no es muy útil y, claro, todos esos datos van a alguna empresa en California. Lo mejor, parece que la wea solo entiende inglés y la mayoría de los meetings no son en inglés. Osea es casi completamente inútil pero aún así varias personas lo han activado. Pero bueno, tenemos que usar "ai" en alguna manera.

It might happen with non-crt screens too. I remember a flat screen (LCD?) that made a different noise depending on the color it displayed. White and light colors made a lot more noise and if you had good ears you could tell the difference without looking. Not sure how they work though to explain this.

Also the cost of getting more internal storage is not just the difference between the two models. Because as you said the 512GB model wasn't even available when you bought the phone but in 2-3 years it will probably be the default. But by then you can't just buy more storage like you would by getting a bigger card, you need a new phone.

Some of these choices are a bit weird. I selected cybersecurity expecting to see my instance but it returns sh.itjust.works instead. But infosec.pub does appear in general technology sometimes so the site knows about it.

Yeah it's not a great example, the difference could be on whether you'd have to do y and z before getting there or they'd give you the materials to do them on the spot. Say signing a form they provide vs finding it, printing it and bringing it with you.

A parentheses-like mark to group parts of a sentence when it's not clear which part a word belongs to. An example I saw lately that may not translate very well: "You are required to arrive an hour early so there's time to do x, do y and do z". Are you required to do y and z or do you just need the extra time to do them? You can usually tell from context but this type of mixup does happen sometimes.

I might try finding it later but still no idea what to do with the field, sorry :p

Edit: Direct flights to most EU capitals might have been a bit of an exaggeration :)
