But you can just ignore the Gmail address and use proton for everything. So if you install a lemmy app from the play store (using the Google account), the lemmy account can use the proton address, it doesn't matter how you installed the app.

You can use a Google account only for the play store and not use Gmail at all. No need to connect that to your proton email and it's still better than having everything on Google.

If you just want the file explorer feature, windows also supports ftp, though it's a bit hidden. You can get an ftp server app on android and use ftp://phone-ip on the file explorer path input to access the phone's files.

I don't care about keeping books on selves and ebooks and paperbacks are easier to read. Hardcovers are always so heavy.

When I had an iPhone, an equivalent to termux. I guess you can't exactly have that in ios.

From my country Murderess (Φόνισσα - Greek) from last year is pretty impactful.

I made a bunch of burner Google accounts back when it was easy to do so so I have many addresses from there + a couple in protonmail. In total it should be 2 "serious" addresses, 1 for games and non-serious services, 2-3 for some specialized stuff and about 8(?) dummy accounts, some of which have connected accounts to social media which have been locked.

Used to be max 200€, then 300€ and my last phone was 220€. But prices keep rising and next will probably be 500. I never do trade-ins though and keep using the old phones afterwards.

Not sure about hangout, meet works fine just without some features. The main ones are sharing a specific tab and blurred/custom backgrounds but there might be some other minor stuff that I've never tried.
