What are the Top 3 TV Shows that define your (personal) youth?

  • Only three is hard, probably:

    • Scooby Doo
    • SpongeBob
    • One of those local sitcoms that have raised about 3 generations on reruns and "would never be produced now" yet are still played on TV

    • I never thought to ask this question before. How many of you are equally capable of using your right versus your left hand?

  • Almost. I write and eat with my right hand but since I stopped writing on paper I've been acting more ambidextrous. Sometimes I forget and try to eat with the left hand only to realize it's harder due to lack of practice. For new complicated skills I'll just pick the hand that's more convenient and learn it there.

  • Yeah even in countries where Uber only works with normal taxi drivers, it's still much better than getting a cab from the street. It may have started with fraud but these apps actually provide a needed service.

  • I actually tried fWallet first but it couldn't import my .pkpass file at the time and it didn't show any errors so I just gave up. I might try it again next time I have a ticket.

  • I've seen at least 4 misunderstandings on lemmy where someone explicitly asked for a /s tag in the end. It's very much needed.

    • URLCheck: Bring back the "open link with..." functionality of android with so many more features
    • PassAndroid: I was looking for a wallet-type app to store tickets. This is the perfect combination of simple but works.

    I also started using KDEConnect recently just for the remote input function and I already consider it essential.

  • Sure but the point is you're trying to inconvenience more people who are already inconvenienced and don't care. Passengers need to be able to lift the bag, not necessarily carry it. Banning wheels means that everyone now has to pack A LOT less because they need to carry it, potentially for a whole day. It's just not worth it.
