I love that the single study that keeps being cited for workers being less productive is based on a random sampling of workers in India. And all these American CEOs (who, by the way, get driven by their chauffeurs or sometimes helicopter pilots to their private offices in the days they feel like showing up) keep using it as evidence without having read it, as if the working environment and economy is the same in India as it is in the US.

Don't get me wrong, there are a fuck ton of unhealthy people in the US, but weight isn't the end all be all. I've been "overweight" since I was 15, for the last 14 years now. I'm also 11% bodyfat and very very athletic. Weight and BMI are bad metrics.

There are shootings and deaths from them literally daily in the US. They just have to be "mass" shootings to make the news these days, normal old homicides are too common.

It's still around! And there's a little discord full of super nice people who still play it and mod it and maintain a new forum.

I replay EV Nova (Arpia plugin, of course) every few years and just absolutely love it.

It's had a reputation of being clunky and bloated. It's better these days than it was 6-7 years ago. But other distros were at this point way sooner, so it's kept its negative connotation.
